These booking terms and conditions apply to appointments, consultations, treatments, courses, gift vouchers and related services provided by Boyzilians at The Covent Garden Salon, 59 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9HE, United Kingdom. You can contact us by telephone on 020 7836 5455 or by email at info@boyzilians.com.
By booking an appointment with Boyzilians, whether by telephone, online, email, in person or through a third-party booking platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Please arrive in good time for your appointment. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your treatment so you can check in, complete any consultation forms and prepare for your appointment without reducing your treatment time.
If you arrive late, we will do our best to provide the full treatment, but your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying other clients. The full treatment price may still be payable.
24 hours notice is required to cancel, amend or move an appointment, otherwise full payment will be required for the treatment.
If you do not attend your appointment, cancel at short notice, or arrive too late for the treatment to be carried out, we may charge up to the full price of the booked treatment. Where we are able to fill the appointment slot or otherwise reduce our loss, any charge will be applied fairly and proportionately.
Some appointments, longer treatments, courses or group bookings may require a deposit, prepayment or card details to secure the booking. We will tell you at the time of booking if this applies.
Deposits and prepayments may be used towards the cost of your treatment. If you cancel or move your appointment with at least 24 hours notice, we will normally transfer the payment to your new appointment or refund it where appropriate. If you cancel at short notice or do not attend, we may retain a fair amount to cover the loss caused by the cancellation.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and may be updated from time to time. The price payable is the price confirmed at the time of booking, unless an obvious error has been made.
Payment is due at the time of treatment unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. We reserve the right to refuse further bookings where outstanding cancellation charges, missed appointment charges or other unpaid sums remain due.
Some treatments require a consultation, patch test or medical screening before the treatment can be carried out. This is particularly important for treatments such as IPL, laser, tinting, peels and other treatments where safety, skin type, medication or medical history may affect suitability.
You must provide accurate and complete information about allergies, medication, medical conditions, recent procedures, skin changes and any other factor that may affect your treatment. We may refuse, postpone or adapt a treatment where we consider it unsafe or unsuitable.
Treatment results vary from person to person and depend on factors such as skin type, hair type, lifestyle, medical history and aftercare. We will provide professional services with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee a particular result.
You agree to follow any aftercare advice given by our therapists. We are not responsible for issues caused by failure to follow aftercare guidance, withholding relevant information or using products or treatments against advice.
If you believe there is an issue with a beauty service such as nails, waxing, eyelash extensions, eyelash perms or tinting, you must contact us as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after the treatment was carried out.
Where a correction may be appropriate, you must attend a complimentary post-treatment consultation within 48 hours of the original service. Any correction is subject to assessment at that consultation and authorisation by management.
If you are unable or unwilling to attend the complimentary post-treatment consultation within the required timeframe, we may be unable to accept responsibility for the issue or offer a correction free of charge. If the time limits above have passed and you still request a correction, we reserve the right to charge for any further treatment.
If you are booking before a holiday, event or travel date, we recommend booking at least 72 hours before you are due to leave or attend, so there is time for any complimentary post-treatment consultation if one is needed.
Courses, packages and promotional offers are subject to availability and any specific terms stated at the time of purchase. They may be personal to the purchaser and may not be transferable unless we agree otherwise.
Discounts and promotions cannot normally be used together unless this is expressly stated. Missed or late cancelled appointments forming part of a course or package may be treated as used.
Gift vouchers must be presented or quoted at the time of booking or payment. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. If a voucher does not cover the full treatment price, the balance must be paid by the client.
Voucher bookings are also subject to our cancellation and amendment terms. If a voucher appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, we may deduct the relevant treatment value from the voucher.
Some treatments may be unsuitable for clients under 18. We may require a parent or guardian to give consent or be present for appointments involving clients under 18. We reserve the right to refuse any treatment where age, consent or safeguarding requirements are not met.
We ask all clients to treat our team, other clients and salon property with respect. We may refuse or stop a treatment, ask a client to leave, or decline future bookings where behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, inappropriate or unsafe.
We may need to move, shorten or cancel an appointment because of therapist illness, equipment issues, safety concerns, events outside our control or other operational reasons. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer to rearrange the appointment or provide an appropriate refund for any treatment not supplied.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment or visit, please tell us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the issue. Concerns should be raised before leaving the salon where possible, or by contacting us promptly afterwards.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or for issues caused by inaccurate information provided by the client.
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your booking are the terms in force at the time the booking is made, unless a change is required by law or is otherwise reasonable and clearly communicated.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
